Over my years of teaching Yoga practitioners how to use their yogic skills to communicate with Nature (allowing them to actually EXPERIENCE union with Nature deep in their bones and bodies) I’ve noticed one key piece that’s foundational to understanding where Nature fits into our practices.

This free, mini, self-paced, online course explains this very first step of re-naturalizing your practice and self, and offers some introductory Nature-connect activities and contemplations.

This mini-course will set the stage and context for the rest of the work and will help uncover one of the reasons some of us may struggle with bringing Nature into a Yoga practice.

Conversations With Nature™

Learn HOW to hear Nature by connecting with your inner Nature.

In this series of 4 educational resources (in the form of self-paced online courses) you will get the basics of HOW to have Conversations With Nature, and what that means for your Yoga practice.

This is the foundation of all the work I offer, this is the starting point and what I imagine we would know by the time we are 5 years old if we lived in a Nature-based culture. Instead most of these skills we have been rewarded to forget.

They are designed in a linear sequence; Senses > Permission > Attraction > Stories

1. Senses

2. Permission

A natural understanding of Pratyahara; there's more than 5 senses, why that's important to a Yoga practice, and why this yogic skill isn't really about withdrawing the senses. We also explore senses within each of our koshas.

Yoga, A sense of union is a grace, a gift. It arises by invitation, and that invitation starts with understanding how to be in permission with this moment, Nature, and our inner Nature. A unique take on learning to navigate a dynamic practice.

3. Attraction

4. Stories

Once we have a sense of balance and humility through learning about permission, deep anchor attractions can become a prana based experience that enlivens our practices and make way for (our inner and) Nature's Voice to be heard.

Consciousness - helpful or a hindrance when it comes to presence? We'll talk about how our thinking patterns can affect how and what we sense and feel within ourselves, how that can influence our relationship with our selves, our practices and Nature.
